The other day I went to Mustafa with the boyfriend. It's one of our random date places since we usually end work late. :P then we went for supper! I had Taiwanese Porridge at Adam's Corner for the first time in my life. & you really should have seen my face when they put it on the table! I was in awe, jakun gila. It was like porridge with kang kong, salted egg, century egg, salted fish & pickled vegetable. It was really comforting! Now that I'm down with a cough & sore throat, I'm dying to have it. :(
Yesterday, was my off day! The boyfriend had lunch at my place, then he accompanied me to get my stuff from the post office. Then Nurul called & she was free so we decided to hang out. Boyfriend then left for work when she reached.
We met up at East Point & just walked around. Then we settled at Hanis at the basement for dessert. We shared a peach tart & talked. The peach was so juicyyyy~ & I'm not a fan of cream but the cream on that thing is light. It's like eating a cloud. n.n
We then headed to Pastamania for lunch! We got all that food which was like way too much for two & clearly we didn't manage to finish it. :/ I finally got my Seafood Tom Yum Pasta. It was so gooooood~ I'm salivating just thinking about it. ^.^
Nads was on MC & was really sick so we paid her a visit at her place. After the feast, we got her some cheesy hearts & walked over. We just chilled in her room just like old times. :') It's really been a while since all three of us were together. Then we pigged out on the chocolates her uncle gave her. The chocolates were so rich! My goodness, that day was really one of those days where my stomach was so happy. Heh. :P

On Thursday, I finally went on the long-awaited sushi date with the workmates~ I've actually purchased lunch vouchers from deal.com.sg a long time ago. It's really hard to gather everyone together since we're all working shifts, but we finally got lucky when three of us to had our off on the same day.We met & had our lunch at Shin Tokyo. The deal consisted of white plate sushi, choice of ramen & free flow of green tea for $17.50. I actually bought it on impulse. Hehehehe. The sushi was superrrr, the ramen tasted like instant noodles & the Green tea was really tasteless. I'd rate a 6.5/10 for the whole deal & a 7/10 just for the sushiiiii~ I really feel like going again for the sushi! ^.^

& no, we didn't buy TOTO. We played Guitar Hero! & I haven't played in so long so I was really bad at it. :( So the auntie told us that with every receipt of ten bucks, we'll get an ang bao containing the Quick Pick. She said, "Good luck la both of you, if win then can get married, buy house, & have babies.". As expected, we didn't win but maybe we can still do the rest? Heh. I kid, I kid.
On Friday, I had work til 4 then I met up with Nads, Hurf & Fahmi. Then along came Sean & Naufal.
My watch & Nads' watch! I have them both cos they're so cute & cheap. Like twenty-ish bucks? I'm a girl who's pretty easy to please. Then I met the boyfriend at his workplace & he accompanied me for supper. The End.
& I end work early today with no plans. Major snoozefest. I'm guessing I'll go home to finish reading my library books which I have to return on the 7th! Til next time then. ;)

I had an impromptu meet-up with Saliza yesterday after work! We met up & went to BHG which was one of the few shops that were open. Kudos to them! We shared dinner, hung out, then went to have dessert & drinks at Starbucks. I also managed to cross off numbers 1 & 4 off my to do list. Yay!
Here'a a photo of me looking like I'm a bunny with short hair. & look at my arms, so muscular! Not. Hahahaha. Kay. :(
Anyway, I finally got round to buying make-up supplies! I don't usually spend on much except food & cab-fare. :P So I was really excited to shop. I got the Bourjois Flower Perfection Foundation! I wanted to get the Healthy Mix, but the saleslady told me that this one was better for me. Probably since I have really bad skin, this one provided more coverage. & she said that it leaves a matte effect, so that should be a plus point as I get oily really easily. I've yet to give them a try though!

& here's the whole collection! They have a primer, loose powder & brush. :D
I also got this eyeliner! It's really dark & pigmented when I tried it on at the shop. But I've still yet to try it on myself. Mehehe. But the products from this brand are pretty pricey though. But I got my previous foundation from here, so I thought I should give it a tryyyyy~

Happy Birthday, Saliza! <3
You're finally twenty-one! I have never officially said this to you, but I'm really proud of how far you've come. You've always known what you wanted, maybe not in the long run but those small goals that will somehow get you there. Look at you now darling, you have a Diploma with awesome grades to boot. I know how hard you've studied in order not to let your family down, especially your Mama & Baba. <3 They are truly lucky to have a daughter like you & I am so proud on their behalf! Now you're working at an establishment that's still budding & I'm sure your presence at the company will help it blossom. You're even enjoying what you do with a super cool boss. Not many people actually enjoy working you know. :P Last but not least, you have a loving family, which I've always been envious of. At the end of the day, they will always be there for you no matter what.
Our friendship has been kinda funny. Some days, we can have the ugliest squabbles but we end up okay shortly after. You've always been there for me on those days where I just feel so low. Even when the situation is beyond your means, you're always there to lend an ear. All in all, I wanna thank you for always being there for me.

I have cleared my debts & there's some other stuff that I have to get/do. Though I've been itching to go for a facial at Saliza's workplace since forever. :( & not forgetting the fact that I need new foundation & eyeliner since they're running out.
So as you know it's Chinese New Year! Singapore is so quiet & I assume everything is closed? I remember being out on Chinese New Year a few years ago, shopping malls were really deserted, it was really hard to get cabs & even the 24 hr supermarkets are closed. Grr. It's kinda like Zombieland without the zombies, I guess. Thank God I've got work if not I'd be left with nothing to do. Working on a Public Holiday also means double pay. Mehehe. ;)
I've still got a long way to go to save for KL which is in around one & a half month? Whoopwhoop, can't wait. I kinda wish we're going to like Bali or Bangkok, but I guess I'll have to make do with KL first.

I've been broke since forever. I now owe my mom, sis and boyfriend money cos there's problems with my pay this month. I haven't even paid my phone bills. Gahh. Being broke has got to be the worst feelings ever. :'( My last transaction from my account was on the 3rd of January & that is around two weeks back. My god.

Hi! I got my hair-cut & dye-job the other day, sponsored by my little sis. It was a girls day out with mom & sis after we were all done with work and school. My hair is now different. I haven't decided if I like it or not. :/ My mom likes it though! That's my hairdresser & his name is Sean! He has manicured nails, they make my nails look so horrible in comparison.

Haiiiiii everybody, whoever you are! Not much things are going on in my life, I guess. So I'll start with a gratuitous picture of myself in case you've forgotten how I look like. :P So anyway, Kakak Yan got married on the 7th! I just loveeeee weddings. But who in the right mind would hate weddings, right? There's good food, pretty decor & most importantly, everyone coming together.
Ta-dah, The newlyweds! They look super cute together. May they be together till Janah, Insyallah. :)
& I missed out on seeing my aunt cry. Damn. That's another thing I always look out for, the crying moms. :P Teehee.

So this week I've been mostly on the morning shift. I've been going to and fro from work with mom. & I made her buy half a dozen of Twelve Cupcakes. Hehehe. I've been spending more time at home than usual which is a really good thing. *insertglowinghaloabovehead*
Okaaaaay, I think that's pretty much it! I hate blogging in bulk cos it looks messy as hell but I either don't have the time/content/laptop to update. Heh. Okay, I'm done here. Have a nice day, everyone. :)

We are both different & similar in the worst ways possible. We're both so stubborn, hard-headed & have the worst tempers. We like different things, want different things and have different backgrounds. I guess love's the magic that's kept us together all this while. I've always wondered if someday the glue that's kept us together will come undone. I never want that day to come. But that day feels like it's coming.
